The Music Expo will be emerging at this year's Break Contest Finals. Bands are encouraged to attend and find out vital information on everything music industry related. Industry professionals will be in attendance all weekend and will speak on panels, workshops, & more!

Friday will be free for all attendees and will be a giant networking session for all.

On Saturday, the best in local and unsigned bands will compete in the Break Contest Finals at the Stone Pony. Panels and workshops will also be taking place during this time. Bands are encouraged to take part in the panels & workshops. The night will be closed out with a performance by critically acclaimed band, Lez Zepplin in the Paramount Theater

Sunday will feature a complete local band showcase, panels, workshops, key note speaker, and closing ceremonies

 
 
  Panels ◊◊◊  
  12 Panels with top industry professionals will take place over the course of the Expo. Each panel will have a definitive topic with a moderator with expertise on the issues being discussed. Panels will run approximately 30 minutes each and all will have a group of distinguished industry insiders that will discuss their topic and include a Q&A session for the audience. Panels will be held at Music Expo headquarters, the Stone Pony, and the Paramount Theatre.

Your demo is done...now what?  Radio pros will answer all your questions on how to get into the ever changing Radio industry.

◊ A & R
A&R reps from major and indie labels will be on hand to discuss the importance of this contact.

◊ SMASH! or TRASH!
Cant get anyone to listen to your cd??  Find out how to get your cd out of the envelope, into the player.

◊ Merchandise
The Bread and Butter of the touring band. If you still think cd's make money...then you need to listen closely to this panel.

◊ Managers
More than just the brains of the operation, managers help emerging bands make the smart, thought out decisions that affect EVERYTHING.
